Water Effects – Elée Ferré
"Water Effects" is a sensitive transcription of the dialogue between the moment and its resonance. Each drop has its consequences, each movement engenders another. Through this interplay of vibrations and repercussions, Elée Ferré reminds us that nothing exists in isolation, that everything is connected by a network of interactions, both visible and invisible, drawn and felt.
Water Collection: Stunning Encounters.
The lapping of water, a drop falling on a puddle. The lapping of water, a drop falling on another puddle. Every event has its repercussions; this one, visual, is also audible. It engages all the senses; listen, it's almost like a heartbeat. Elée Ferrée

Water Collection, stunning encounters
In "Water Effects," Elée Ferré captures the fleeting moment when a drop touches the surface of a puddle, triggering a series of visible and invisible repercussions. The work transcribes this phenomenon into a network of fluid lines that extend and intertwine, translating the propagation of waves, the echo of movement in space.
The intricate lines, applied with a pen, create an impression of dynamism and vibration. Each curve seems to emerge from the initial impact and gradually diffuse, like a fading sound, a resonating pulse. The eye follows these successive furrows, caught in a constant oscillation between expansion and concentration.
This drawing is not only for the eyes, but also for the ears. The suggested lapping sound is almost audible, and the work takes on an immersive dimension. The viewer is invited to listen with their eyes, to perceive in the silence of the paper the rhythm of a falling drop, an imperceptible beat that resonates like an aquatic heartbeat.
The choice of recycled paper adds a raw materiality to the work, an anchoring in reality that contrasts with the delicacy of the lines. Water, though elusive, leaves a lasting imprint here, an ephemeral cartography that has become permanent.
