With Russian, German and Italian immigrant grandparents, she works and lives in France in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region.

Her work is based on solid training : Bordeaux School of Fine Arts, plastic arts degree, Sorbonne University in Paris, graduate of the Paris Academic Institute, Academic Knight of the Académie Internazionale Gréci Marino.

After several years of experimentation with paint paste (making colors: pigments, linseed oil), his work turned to epoxy. The material is mixed with colors then spread in layers and swirls on a wooden support.

His style of abstract painting is similar to lyrical abstraction of an innovative style. The works resemble canvases on stretchers, but are more massive.

Sylvie GEDDA has the potential to provoke intense visual joy. Through the balance of his lines of force and the intensity of his pigments, the artist teaches us to look at colors in extraordinary lighting.
