Born to Russian, German and Italian immigrant grandparents, she works and resides in France in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region.

Her work is based on a solid education : Bordeaux School of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Sorbonne University in Paris, graduate of the Academic Institute of Paris, Academic Knight of the Gréci Marino International Academy.

After several years of experimenting with paint paste (making colors from pigments and linseed oil), his work turned to epoxy. The material is mixed with colors and then spread in layers and swirls onto a wooden support.

His style of abstract painting is akin to lyrical abstraction with an innovative approach. The works resemble canvases on stretchers, but are more massive in scale.

Sylvie GEDDA has the potential to evoke intense visual joy. Through the balance of her lines of force and the intensity of her pigments, the artist teaches us to see colors in an extraordinary light.
