With Sublimation , Françoise Dugourd -Caput offers a captivating work, born from an intimate dialogue between photographed nature and digital imagination. Starting with a macro photograph of frozen water, the artist develops a transformed vision of matter, where ice becomes light, and where frozen fragments come alive through the effect of exceptionally refined digital manipulation.

An organic universe in metamorphosis.
On the visual surface, elements seem to float, merge, evaporate. Translucent bubbles punctuate the image like floating orbs, reminiscent of spheres of thought or particles of dreams. The birds, black silhouettes bordering on the abstract, add a narrative and poetic dimension, as if they were messengers of an invisible world in the process of emerging.

Techniques and Materials:
The image was reworked using Corel Painter, in an intuitive, painterly approach where color becomes a tangible element. Printing on Dibond aluminum enhances the brilliance of both cool and warm tones, while also intensifying the contrasts of light. The black aluminum American-style frame discreetly and elegantly frames the piece, allowing the visual intensity of the composition to take center stage.
