Inspiration and creative process:
Asteroid, a digital creation by Françoise Dugourd -Caput, immerses us in a dense and luminous cosmic universe, where the infinitely small seems to merge with the infinitely large. Created from a personal macro photograph, this unique piece transcends reality to evoke the immensity of space, with its explosions of light and incandescent swirls.

Composition and Visual Dynamism:
The composition, entirely reworked in Corel Painter, reveals a dynamic and vibrant structure, where luminous filaments appear to dance like plasma trails around an incandescent core. The sinuous curves and golden bursts create an impression of perpetual motion, as if the image were capturing the raw energy of an asteroid traversing the vastness of the cosmos. This dynamism is reinforced by the contrast between the warm, almost volcanic hues and the cooler, luminous bursts, creating a striking contrast between matter and ether.
