Axelle Ardurat

Born in 1973 in Bordeaux, Axelle Ardurat has lived since September 2018 in the Médoc, between forests and ocean.

It was at the age of 13 that Axelle developed a passion for watercolor , thanks to a family friend who was a painter. A specialist in this medium on wet paper, his technique allows him to translate all the subtlety of landscapes.

She draws from her seaside and forest environment the aesthetic elements that form her works. Axelle Ardurat masters the balance of shapes and colors to perfection.

She has a long career as a watercolorist and she shares her knowledge by giving classes around the world via the internet.

The framing, which she does herself, following a former professional practice, forms an integral part of her creations.
