Baisong Wang, Chinese painter, was born in 1952 in Liaoning province. A graduate of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1982, he is distinguished by his unique approach to oil painting, influenced by his exploration of Chinese mountains and rivers. Having devoted his career to capturing the beauty of landscapes, he has gained international notoriety for his ability to fuse Western oil painting techniques with the aesthetics and sensitivity of Chinese painting tradition.

Technical Analysis: In "Spring Mountain" , Baisong Wang uses soft and soothing colors, mainly shades of blue, green and gray, which evoke the freshness of a spring landscape. The pictorial technique is based on flat areas of color and dynamic brushstrokes which provide a sensation of movement.
