Think of a hotel bathroom, it often has clean lines and colors. Colors such as dark blue go well with gold details, grays go well with green plants, etc. Typically, there isn't a lot of decoration in hotel bathrooms, but the few pieces you do find should be cohesive and well-organized. The toilet as well as the sink and/or bathtub must remain white. Towels and hand towels are considered part of the decor and their color should always coordinate with the rest of the decor. Go for modern art on the walls and don't be afraid to choose wallpaper with a bold print. If you have the space, you can even opt for sculptures. As long as the color palette is well coordinated, you can be very creative with this style. Painting one or more walls in a bright color can give a modern touch to the room. The images can be fun works of art or in a more aesthetic style, even a photo, for example, in black and white, if you prefer a more classic style. For a classic hotel feel, opt for a glass door instead of a shower curtain. Open storage shelves for towels, evergreen plants or bouquets for a touch of luxury, and don't forget to display hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. with labels in similar containers. Details like these will definitely create the feeling of being in a hotel. This style is also ideal for guest bathrooms.
If you prefer raw materials such as wood, marble and metal, high contrasts and simple designs, the industrial bathroom may be the style for you. Whether you prefer tiles, wallpaper or bricks on the walls, wooden or tiled flooring, you will get a bathroom with a clean, modern and minimalist look. The exposed piping is one of the key elements of this design! You can use the pipes as open storage shelves on the walls. When it comes to artwork, you can opt for small pops of color to brighten up the room, choose dark wood frames to maintain high contrast, the style of the artwork can range from painting to an art photo and other images of your choice, don't be afraid to hang several works of art on one wall. The wood details should be darker, the light source should be a warm bulb, preferably Edison style to add to the industrial look. The colors used in this design are generally minimalist, often black and white, with small pops of contrasting color. The shower can be chrome as usual, or you can opt for black or dark metal pipes. For example, choose gray chalk paint on all the walls or just on one wall. Add a more modern look by bringing in some green plants, either hanging them from the ceiling or simply on the floor in pots. Keep the decor minimal with a few details, like the light source, hanging plants, large mirrors, a wooden stool, etc. but the piping details and raw materials should be what dominates the industrial bathroom.
What makes the Scandinavian bathroom different from other bathrooms? Scandinavian style is often minimalist, with white as the dominant color and light wood details. You can create the feeling of having as much light as possible, even without having a natural light source. Think white, controlled clutter, light and air with cozy details that create a feeling of home. A sink and bathtub/shower with rounded corners for a softer look, a bath mat in bamboo or light oiled oak, plants hanging from the ceiling in “diy” rope pendant lights, pictures with graphic details or photos in neutral or natural colors, or even fun little quotes framed on the wall. If you prefer paintings as works of art, opt for a beautiful varnished oil painting. Oil paint and especially varnish are the most resistant to humidity. Acrylic paint also offers good resistance to water vapor. If your bathroom is well ventilated and ventilated, you can choose a watercolor. However, we advise you to check that the paint has been “fixed” by appropriate treatment.
You can make a small still life decor on the counters with candles, a funny or aesthetic book, some eternal flowers, etc.
The walls are usually white, but if you feel like painting them, opt for pastel or neutral colors like ivory, pastel green, pastel yellow or sand. The most important thing in Scandinavian style is to keep it light, simple and clutter-free!

Modern bathroom style is dominated by straight, clean lines, bold materials like marble, teak and stone. We recognize him by his strong, almost masculine look. Think 1950s to 1960s style, but contemporary, with geometric shapes, teak, and clean, straight lines. Clutter-free countertops, large darker colored tiles on the walls, square mirrors.
Greys, whites, blacks and browns dominate the room, but without making the space feel cold or hostile. The light source should be warmer to prevent the room from becoming “clinical” in style.
When incorporating art into this style, you can go in any direction, especially because you won't be implementing a lot of decoration. In general, pieces should be bold, dominant and with small pops of color, preferably in darker tones. You can favor original artwork, but you can also think outside the box and add a picture wall, although it's not typical of this design, don't let that stop you.
This bathroom is probably the most themed of all the previous bathrooms. With the luxurious feel of well-being, greenery hanging from the ceiling, the tropical bathroom is for those who appreciate a little luxury in everyday life. When you start decorating this bathroom, think of a rainforest, for example, the “falling rain” shower. There must be lots of plants to really feel like you're in nature.
The design should be clean with wooden details and light colors. You can opt for wallpaper with flowers or other greenery and create the illusion of being in a rainforest, or keep it more minimalist with a neutral paint.
When decorating with artwork, choose pieces that create a sense of calm, or if you feel like it, stick with the theme and opt for photos of tropical animals, or nature paintings, etc.
Lanterns hanging from the ceiling can create a soft light source that is perfect for this theme. One thing is for sure, once you've done it all in this lush bathroom, you won't regret it.
There are many other bathroom designs and themes to choose from. You should always opt for one that fits your personal aesthetic, or maybe even create your own! The only limit is your imagination.
