Sylvie Gedda, whose grandparents were Russian, German and Italian immigrants, resides and works in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France. His rigorous academic training includes studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux, a degree in visual arts at the Sorbonne University in Paris, and a diploma from the Institut Acadomique de Paris. This training allowed him to develop exceptional technical mastery, focused on depth, transparencies and the play of light, mainly through the use of epoxy paste on several thicknesses and on a wooden support.

“The Bird of the Soul” is a composition rich in colors and textures. Dominated by shades of red, black and white, the work evokes deep and complex emotions.
