To hear the answer – Aisté Jurgilaité

This work is imbued with mysticism and inner quest. Through its masterful use of light and abstract forms, Aisté Jugilaité manages to create an environment conducive to reflection and introspection. The spectator is invited to symbolically cross the arch to hear his own response, in a silent dialogue with the invisible. This work reminds us that the answers we seek are often already present within us, waiting to be discovered in the silence of contemplation.

Critical analysis of the work “To hear the answer” by Aisté Jugilaité

The 50 x 100 cm work transports the viewer into an inner exploration, where colors and shapes evoke a silent journey in search of answers. As often in his creations, Aisté Jugilaité plays here with light, transparency and the suggestion of shapes to create a spiritual atmosphere.

The central element of the work is a large arch, which seems to lead towards an illuminated space, towards a soft and warm, almost divine light. This arch, symbolically linked to the idea of passage, invites the viewer to cross a threshold, not physical, but mental and emotional, to get closer to this inner quest which resides in each human being. The light filtering through the arch, with its shades of yellow, orange and green, illuminates the abstract shapes and invites peaceful introspection.

The dominant colors of the work, ranging from purple to green through tones of yellow and blue, are used with a delicacy which evokes a serene and meditative atmosphere. The soft palette makes the scene seem like it is shrouded in a veil of mystery. The painting seeks to evoke a part of consciousness that is waiting to be revealed.

The effect of depth created by the arch, as well as by the play of light and shadow, adds a three-dimensional dimension to the work. Space seems to extend beyond the frame, symbolizing infinity and the unknown. The abstract shapes surrounding the arch could represent fragments of thought, as if the artist were guiding us towards a spiritual space beyond the visible.
