Context and background of the artist: Kandayin is an artist passionate about drawing and painting since her childhood. After exploring various mediums, ranging from colored pencils to gouache, she developed expertise in the use of oil, acrylic, pastel and even mixed media. His academic career includes five years of drawing from live models and two years at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse. Largely self-taught, Kandayin has perfected the art of watercolor to the point of making it his field of teaching since 1997. His style evolves from rigorous figurative to a more free and chaotic expression, which he structures and transcends to offer unique and dynamic visions.
